Practice Storytelling

- Go through your Gingerbread Boy/Girl story, using your storyline and your characters you made.

- Start from the beginning (in the kitchen with the little old woman and the little old man)

- Have your child go through the entire story going through each 'setting' and using the proper characters while they retell the story.

Ex. "Once upon a time there was a little old woman and a little old man who lived alone in a little house. The little old woman decided she wanted to make a little gingerbread boy/girl ..... ............ when she opened the oven to take it out, he jumped out of the oven and ran out the door, out the gate, and down the path ...... the little old woman and the little old man chased after him!!!! ..............
