We are continuing our one one one meetings today -- there will again be no group live morning meeting! (This will continue throughout the week)
Printing
Today we are going to be working with the 'My Alphabet Shape Book'. We are going to be completing letter H today. You will need both sets of papers (As seen below) for this activity.


Task:
Trace the uppercase H's, continue printing them to fill the line
Continue on with the lowercase h's
Find the correct page that your child needs to cut out for the 'H' page (Horse by the Hay)
Have your child cut out the shapes from the correct page - Horse by the Hay --- What is the name of each shape used? Triangle, circle etc.
Glue them on to the printing page where the shapes are.
Colour the page
Take a picture/video of your child while they are working and also of their work and upload it to Seesaw
Listen to the Jolly phonics song - Jolly Phonics Letter H
- Have your child do their best to follow along with the words.
ACTION: Hold your hand up to your mouth, panting as if you are out of breath, and say h, h, h,

Complete the letter H card
Take a picture of your child's work and upload it to Seesaw

Optional: Can your child draw a picture of an animal that starts with the letter H?
Storytime: When a Dragon Moves In
Build background by discussing the following topics with students:
• Building sandcastles at the beach
• Dragons
• Imagination and imaginary creatures
Introduce the title, When a Dragon Moves In, and have students predict what might happen.
