Printing
Today we are going to be working with the 'My Alphabet Shape Book'. We are going to be completing letter W today. You will need both sets of papers (As seen below) for this activity.
Task:
Trace the uppercase W's, continue printing them to fill the line
Continue on with the lowercase w's
Find the correct page that your child needs to cut out for the 'W' page (Walrus in the Water)
Have your child cut out the shapes from the correct page - Walrus in the Water --- What is the name of each shape used? Triangle, circle etc.
Glue them on to the printing page where the shapes are.
Colour the page
Take a picture/video of your child while they are working and also of their work and upload it to Seesaw
Listen to the Jolly phonics song - Jolly Phonics Letter W
- Have your child do their best to follow along with the words.
ACTION: Blow onto your open hand, as if you are the wind, and say wh, wh, wh
Complete the letter W card
Take a picture of your child's work and upload it to Seesaw

Optional: Can your child draw a picture of an animal that starts with the letter W?

Cut and Paste Patterns
Cut out each of the pictures at the bottom. Once all 5 are cut out, glue them in the correct place to continue each of the patterns.
Movement
Go for a walk or go play outside. Look for things while you are outside that start with the letter W! If it is cold, make sure you dress warm!
