Printing

Today we are going to be working with the 'My Alphabet Shape Book'. We are going to be completing letter R today. You will need both sets of papers (As seen below) for this activity.

Task:

  1. Trace the uppercase R's, continue printing them to fill the line

  2. Continue on with the lowercase r's

  3. Find the correct page that your child needs to cut out for the 'R' page (Rabbit by a River) -- As you can see, there are duplicates of the cutting page. You only need one set. The other set can be used to practice cutting (also if any major mistakes are made on the first set, these can be used)

  4. Have your child cut out the shapes from the correct page - Rabbit by a River --- What is the name of each shape used? Triangle, circle etc.

  5. Glue them on to the printing page where the shapes are.

  6. Colour the page

Take a picture of your child's work and upload it to Seesaw

Numeracy #2 - Animal Sorting

All of the information you need will be found on Seesaw under Activities.

  • Please ensure you are allowing your child to complete these tasks on their own. I want to know what they know so I can better support them! I don't need to know what you know!!!

Here is the link to Seesaw if you are using the web browser. If not you can get access on the Seesaw Class app!

Hello Kindergarten families!

I just want to remind everyone of the importance of submitting your child's work on Seesaw. This is what gives me a window into their learning and development, which allows me to better teach and support them throughout this online learning experience!

If you are having a hard time accessing Seesaw please let me know and I will do my best to help.

It is also very helpful to post videos of your child while they are doing their work (printing, sorting, counting, drawing, coloring, reading etc.) Everything!! These help me so much!!!
