Printing

Today we are going to be working with the 'My Alphabet Shape Book'. We are going to be skipping ahead to letter P. You will need both sets of papers (As seen below) for this activity.

Task:

  1. Trace the uppercase P's, continue printing them to fill the line

  2. Continue on with the lowercase p's

  3. Find the correct page that your child needs to cut out for the 'P' page (Pig in a Puddle) -- As you can see, there are duplicates of the cutting page. You only need one set. The other set can be used to practice cutting (also if any major mistakes are made on the first set, these can be used)

  4. Have your child cut out the shapes from the correct page - Pig in a Puddle --- What is the name of each shape used? rectangle, circle.

  5. Glue them on to the printing page where the shapes are.

  6. Colour the page

SMALL GROUP MEETINGS NEXT WEEK

I am hoping to start having small group meetings next week with the kids. These will be groups of 4-6, just to allow me to have more time to personally work with the kids. Your child will have one small group meeting a week, along with our daily class meetings each day at 8:45 (like we have been doing for the past month).

These meetings will start at 9:30-9:45AM and 9:45-10:00AM. I will be making a schedule today and putting students in to their groups. I will let you know your child's time ASAP!
