My Best Friend is...

- Draw a picture of you and your best friend

- Write your best friends name below

Red 10 frames

- This page was sent home in the first package and we were to cut each little ten frames out.

(you should have 11 little ten frames - each with a different amount of dots inside)

- I want students to pick them up one at a time (like flash cards).

- Say how many dots are on the card. Try to practice subitizing (don't count every dot)

---- You know that there are 10 boxes total, if half are filled we know that is 5. etc.

Fun activities! You can choose one or all off the the following activities:

- Sensory bin: Make a bean or cereal or noodle sensory bin. Place dry beans/cereal/noodles in a tub with vehicles or animals. Add bowls and tongs.

- Make Oobleck: Mix together one-part water and two-parts corn starch

- Paint with kitchen tools: Paint with forks, mashers, whisk, spatulas, or other fun tools you have

- Play dough cookies: Make pretend cookies with play dough. Put out a rolling pin, cookie cutters, and scissors.
