Printing
Today we are going to be completing letter S. You will need both sets of papers (As seen below) for this activity.
Task:
Trace the uppercase S's, continue printing them to fill the line
Continue on with the lowercase s's
Find the correct page that your child needs to cut out for the 'S' page (Seahorse in the Sea)
Have your child cut out the shapes from the correct page - Seahorse in the Sea --- What is the name of each shape used? Triangle, circle etc.
Glue them on to the printing page where the shapes are.
Color the page
Take a picture/video of your child while they are working and also of their work and upload it to Seesaw
Listen to the Jolly phonics song - Jolly Phonics Letter S
- Have your child do their best to follow along with the words.
ACTION: Weave your hand in an 's' shape, like a snake, and say ssssss.
Complete the letter S card
Find the letter S card. Color it. Practice saying the letter sound of the cards you have completed and doing the actions as well.
Take a picture of your child's work and upload it to Seesaw

Art & Sensory - Choice Activities
#1) Blowing Paint - Water down some paint in cups. Drip the paint on the paper and blow it with a straw.
#2) Make a cutting bin - place strips of paper and ribbon in the bin and let them cut it up into tiny pieces
#3) Finger-paint - Place the paper on a tray or in a tub to contain the mess.
#4) Block zoo - build a zoo with blocks for your animals.
#5) Frozen paint - put paint in a ice cube tray with a stick in each cube. Once it's frozen, get it out and paint with it on paper.
